After a spell in industry John returned to the profession and qualified in 1993 with a small local firm. He has extensive experience of large family run businesses and on several occasions has taken on a financial director’s role for clients. Consequently John can advise on a wide range of accountancy and taxation matters and he is also the firm’s senior statutory auditor.  He has also successfully advised several companies on Research and Development tax credit claims.

Joanne Pitt FCA

Joanne qualified with a small local firm in 1983. She spent a few years working for Coopers and Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) before returning to a small professional office as she missed the direct client involvement and where she felt she could provide a better and more personal service to clients. She has a wide range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and owner-managed businesses and has advised on numerous new start-ups. Joanne also has many personal tax clients.

Jackie Frampton ACA

Jackie qualified in 1990 with a local firm. She returned to the profession in 2004, after raising her family, primarily to help the partners with their growing portfolio of clients. She is responsible for the in-house accounts and administration but also carries out client accounting and taxation work and has her own portfolio. Jackie also has extensive knowledge of tax matters and can advise on a wide range of issues.

Dawn Swift

Dawn joined us in 2005. She carries out a wide range of accounting functions, including bookkeeping, VAT returns and payroll preparation. She is regularly at our clients’ premises assisting them with their accounting records providing help and training as required, the full service or just the finishing touches. She is our resident Sage expert.
